How to backup your Website:
Here let us take a look at the Backup options available through cPanel. There you can backup and/or store the files in your hosting account.
1) After logging into the cPanel, click on the 'backup' icon in the 'Files' window.
2) Further scrolling is the Manual Backup section of the backup screen. There are several ways to backup your files depending on which files you want to backup.
3) You can backup home directory by clicking on 'Home Directory' box. Similarly, you can backup MySQL databases and those files in specific subdomains or filters by clicking on their respective boxes.
4) After clickin on 'Download or Generate a full Website Backup' link set the Backup destination to remote FTP server. Enter the email address where you want a complete report of this backup to be sent.
5) Enter the remote server in the where you want the backup to go, in the 'remote server' box. Similarly enter the password.
6) Now, click on 'Generate Backup' link. Hence, we have created a full backup to the remote FTP server we specified.
7) In order to backup the home directory to our local computer click on the 'Home Directory' box. A File Download box appears. Click on 'ok'. Now we have successfully backed up the home directory to our local computer.
8) To restore the backup file click on 'Browse'. Locate and select the required backup file. Click on 'Upload' to restore the file.
